I had to study this play at secondary school, but I couldn’t really remember it – so that’s why, when I decided to re-read it, it was a genuine pleasure. Priestley’s play is a fascinating insight into the way that our actions impact other people, as well as an investigation into human psychology. I’d definitely recommend it, whether you’re into classics or not.
