Disclaimer: I received my copy of this magazine for free because I’m featured inside it as a contributor.
Lunar Poetry magazine is a great little initiative, a small publication by a group of friends with a real interest in poetry. But you can’t argue that it’s an elitist publication, or one which only publishes the work of a select group of friends – contributors come from all over the world, and the only real similarities between them seems to be a desire to push the boundaries of what poetry is, and what it means.
If you get a chance to read this magazine, I’d definitely recommend it, and if you’re London-based then you’ll be able to go and see some of the featured poets performing their work at one of Lunar’s many events. I did, and it was lots of fun.
