Disclaimer: While I aim to be unbiased, I received a copy of this for free to review.

This book is fascinating and well-deserving of a five-star review. What’s interesting about this book is that the author used Deep Thunder – a piece of artificial intelligence software – to create a fictional language that’s used throughout the book. The result is a psychedelic adventure that’s reminiscent of A Clockwork Orange, and a highly original and impressive debut release from Maartens Lourens.

In fact, the book as a whole is of a cracking quality, especially considering Lourens himself established a publishing house to release it. For me, this is better than most ‘mainstream‘ books.
