I can’t really talk too much about the story line to this book without giving it away – suffice to say that it’s a lot of fun, just like Stine’s work always is, and that there’s a big twist at the end which finishes it off with a bang. It’s also pretty believable – at least, it’s as believable as any of his other books are, and his characterisation is particularly good, too.

There are better Goosebumps books on the market, but that shouldn’t put you off from getting this one – it’s a great little addition to your collection, and a good book to read whether you’re a kid or an adult. And it’s not overly scary, either!
