R. L. Stine – The Haunted Mask

This book is pretty much the perfect book for Hallowe’en, if you’re a kid – whilst all of Stine’s books are spine-tingling, this one is actually about Hallowe’en itself. It follows the story of a kid who wants to get a special mask to wear whilst trick or treating, one that’s so scary that it freaks out everyone, even her best friends. Unfortunately, the mask is haunted – I think I can say that without giving away any spoilers, seeing as it’s in the title.

I’d recommend The Haunted Mask, and whilst it isn’t one of my favourite Goosebumps books, it’s still pretty good.
