R. L. Stine – Monster Blood II

This is the second book so far in the Monster Blood mini series, which itself is a part of Stine’s wider Goosebumps series of children’s books with a touch of horror.

Monster Blood is a green goo-like substance that expands and expands until it gets out of hand, and if you eat it, it makes you grow bigger. Here, Evan is having a bad time at school and so he decides to use the blood to try to play a practical joke. Unfortunately, predictably, it backfires.

Overall, it’s a fun, quick read that’s enjoyable for adults, as well as kids.
