R. L. Stine – Monster Blood IV

And so it ends! This is the fourth and final book in the Monster Blood miniseries within Goosebumps, R. L. Stine’s epic children’s horror series. And actually, for what it was, it was surprisingly good – Stine was stretching it a little bit by the time that he got to the fourth book, but the story line makes sense and even ends on a cliffhanger.

I first read this at the age of 27, and I’m kind of gutted that I never read the Monster Blood books when I was younger. Still, better late than never, and these books still hold up well today.
