Title: Monster Blood
Author: R. L. Stine
Type: Fiction
Page Count/Review Word Count: 130
Rating: 7/10
I read this book as part of Stine’s Slimy Special, which gathers together the first three books in the series. Here, we’re introduced to the titular blood, and we start to find out what it can do – it grows exponentially, and it causes animals (and people) to grow if they ingest it.
Evan and his friend Andy try to stop the Monster Blood from growing and growing, but is it too late? You’ll find out in this, the first of Stine’s Goosebumps books to take on this slimy terror.
Still fun to read as an adult, Monster Blood is a pretty good read if your kids want a bedtime story.
