Title: Piano Lessons Can Be Murder
Author: R. L. Stine
Page Count/Review Word Count: 124
In this book, Stine continues his Goosebumps series by playing off that inexplicable fear that you sometimes feel as a child, when you’ve been introduced to an adult who just doesn’t feel right to you. In this instance, the shady figure is the piano teacher, and you’d be right to be afraid of him, although I won’t say why. Let’s just say that, as always, Stine’s work is a lot of fun, and that this book lives up to the slogan of the series: “Reader beware, you’re in for a scare.” It’s not terrifying, but it does scare.
