You know what you’re getting with a book like this – another instalment in R. L. Stine’s Goosebumps series, and this time it’s about a haunted card game in which every time someone picks up a joker, they receive a sinister tattoo and bump into an evil joker.

It’s not the best Goosebumps book by a long shot, and I even thought that the tension was a little lower than you get with some of the other books in the series. But it was okay, and a good story for kids who like cards and scary things.
