I met Ray a little while back at an open mic night at the Poetry Cafe in London. This collection of his poetry, while admittedly not for everyone, is right up my street – fantastic wordplay and plenty of evocative imagery, as well as the author’s take on the world around him. It’s a few years old now, but it’s aged well and is definitely worth reading if you’re into contemporary poetry.
