Title: The Twits
Author: Roald Dahl
Page Count/Review Word Count: 104
The Twits has many of the hallmarks of Dahl at his greatest, but it’s missing that special something that makes novels like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and George’s Marvellous Medicine so spellbinding. That said, it’s still a fantastic piece of children’s literature in its own right, and even though I first read it as a 25-year-old, I’d have no problem recommending that you read the exploits of the wicked Mr. and Mrs. Twit to your children. They’ll love it when they get their comeuppance.
