I didn’t know what this play was even about when I first picked it up, and I’m still kind of scratching my head at the end. Nevertheless, the bits that I could understand were phenomenal, and the dialogue was seriously impressive – there’s also an odd mixture of the old and the new, with a variety of language from throughout the ages on offer. Beckett’s head must’ve been like a melting pot of words and wisdom.
