The Trouble with Parallel Universes is a release by Fincham Press, which is based at the University of Roehampton. That’s where I studied creative writing, and Leone Ross was one of my lecturers. That’s why I bought the book!
Effectively, this book is a short anthology of some of the work of Roehampton’s writers, an interesting mixture of poetry and prose. It’s refreshing to see stuff like this, because there was no similar facility when I was studying there. It’s a good book, and I’m glad that up-and-coming writers are receiving this kind of exposure. And you don’t have to have gone to Roehampton to love the work that’s coming out of it.
